Dear friends of the Peace NGOs Forum,
Following my participation in the last bilateral conference in Jericho, on Jan 24-25, 2010, and in the political committee, I wish to fulfil my promise and offer you all a gift:
A special training on the tools and skills of two complementary methods:
Nonviolent and Compassionate Peace Action,

Nonviolent Communication (NVC),
By Dr. Marshall Rosenberg
These two methods can help us be more powerful and effective WITH others, including OPPONENTS and EXTREMISTS, draw them to our cause and be more effective in civil action and peace building. The flyer is attached to this message.

Who are welcome to participate?
Peace leaders and activists, members of the Forum, who wish to enrich their capacities to connect with others and have influence with them, especially those of you who are challenged to deal with opponents and are looking for innovative ways to do so.
How long will the training take?
This training will be an introduction, which will take 2 hours. (We may decide to do more in the future).
What shall we do in the training?
I’ll demonstrate an effective listening and connecting with an opponent – most extreme and difficult to deal with, at your requests… (You will be asked to challenge me on this…)
Later we’ll exercise the tools in pairs and individually.
Then we’ll discuss what works and what is needed to master these tools.
When will it happen?
Sunday, March 21, 2010, at 14:00 to 16:00
Where?
In Beit Jala, at Talita Kumi. Transportation will be available, upon early registration.
